What are Chakras ?
According to ancient traditions Chakras are recognised as energy centres inside the physical bodies energy field. They are located in areas that contain large quantities of nerves and major organs. Each chakra vibrates at it’s own frequency, which corresponds to specific physiological, emotional and spiritual states of being.
Chakras, meaning “wheel” or “disc” in Sanskrit are thought to be portals through which the main energetic channels of the body flow. A balanced chakra brings a free flow of energy through the body bringing harmony and alignment. The energy flows in two directions simultaneously, spinning clockwise to move the energy out of the body and counterclockwise to pull energy in from the universe and those around you. When any chakras are blocked the energy flow can become stagnant which can negatively impact the entire system.
